The Sassy Bead Company opened
its doors in the early 90's on William Street in Ottawa's ByWard
Market and have since opened stores on Bank Street in the Glebe
and on Yonge Street in Toronto. Owners Greg Best and Natalie
Szabo are continually stocking their bright, captivating stores
with the latest in bead fashions and trendy items. With more
than a thousand tiny seed beads to semi-precious stones and
a select variety of funky fashion pieces, Sassy
Bead Company aims to please all of their customers
whether they’re 7 or 97.
Beads, beads everywhere
Crystals, delicas, semi-precious, pearls, findings, seed beads,
wedding jewellery, sterling
silver – from allowance shopping to high fashion accessories,
Sassy Bead Company can meet
any budget or need. Customers will be amazed at the selection
of treasures on display. Children will be spellbound by the
colours and textures of the beads, not to mention the endless
possibilities for creating fun jewellery and crafts.
Classy, Sassy classes
Anyone with a yen for beadwork can register for a variety of
bead workshops. Held several evenings a week and Sunday mornings,
classes range from basic beading to ballroom necklaces and tiger
